Every serious conversation starts somewhere.
This is where this one starts.
The free 30-minute introductory call is for the person who knows something needs to change, but who is not yet certain what kind of help is appropriate, whether this practice is the right context, or what working together would actually look like.
There is no agenda. No predetermined outcome. No pressure toward any particular next step.
There is a conversation, a genuine one, between you and a clinician who has been doing this work for over 10 years and who will tell you honestly whether what you are carrying is something this practice is designed to address.
WHAT THE CALL IS
The introductory call is 30 minutes.
In those thirty minutes, the conversation covers two things.
The first is your situation: not the full clinical picture, but enough of it to understand what you are dealing with, what you have already tried, and what that specific thing that has not changed looks like. This is not a diagnostic session. It is a first encounter, the kind that allows both of us to determine whether continuing makes sense.
The second is the practice, what the work here actually consists of, how it is different from what you may have already tried, and which of the available paths is most likely to be the right fit for where you are. This may be individual therapy, the Alignment Method, a couples engagement, or something else entirely. The call is designed to orient rather than to sell.
You will leave the call knowing whether this is the right place for you. That clarity is the call’s primary purpose.
WHO THIS IS FOR
This call is for the person who is still orienting.
Who knows that the way things are is not the way they need to be. Who may have tried other approaches like therapy, coaching, self-directed work, with results that were only partial or temporary. Who is considering whether this kind of depth-level clinical work is what their situation actually requires, and who wants a genuine conversation before making any decision.
It is for the person who is not yet certain what they need. If you already know what you need and the question is whether the Alignment Method specifically is the right fit, the Alignment Consultation is the more appropriate starting point.

If you are still in the process of figuring out what kind of help is right, then this initial call is where that process begins.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The call happens online, by video or by voice only, your preference.
It is a conversation, not a presentation. There is no slide deck, no program overview, no structured agenda that the call is required to follow. What there is is thirty minutes of genuine clinical attention to your specific situation.
Come as you are. The most useful version of you in this call is the honest one, the one who describes what is actually present rather than the polished account of it. The clinician you will speak with has heard the honest version of most things. It is the honest version that makes the call most useful.
After the call, there is no obligation. If the conversation confirms that this is the right practice and the right time, the next steps are clear and you will know what they are. If it confirms that something else serves you better, whether within this practice or elsewhere, you will leave with that clarity instead.
Both are good outcomes.
A NOTE ON WHAT THIS IS NOT
This is not a sales call.
The clinician on this call is not working toward enrolling you in a program. The practice does not operate that way, not because of a principled objection to selling, but because the work requires a quality of readiness and fit that cannot be manufactured by a persuasive conversation.
If after thirty minutes the honest clinical assessment is that you are not ready for depth-level work, or that this is not the right practice for what you are carrying, that is what you will be told. It has happened before. It will happen again. The integrity of the assessment is more valuable to this practice than any individual enrollment.
What you can expect is honesty. About what the work requires. About whether your situation is one this practice is designed to address. About what the realistic next step is for where you are.
That is what the call is for.
