4. Session Structure and Scheduling

4.1 Session Format

All therapeutic sessions are conducted online via video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, or WhatsApp), unless otherwise agreed upon.

4.2 Session Frequency

The default session frequency is weekly. However, we maintain flexibility to adjust frequency based on individual needs and circumstances. Some clients may meet bi-weekly or at other intervals as clinically appropriate and mutually agreed upon.

4.3 Session Duration

Standard sessions are typically 50-60 minutes. Specific programs (such as The Alignment Method) may have different time structures as outlined in the program details.

4.4 Scheduling

Sessions are scheduled by mutual agreement, taking into account both your availability and the therapist’s schedule. We aim to maintain consistency in day and time when possible to support therapeutic progress.

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

5.1 Cancellation Notice

If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, you must provide at least 24 hours advance notice.

5.2 Late Cancellations and No-Shows

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will be charged in full.
  • No-shows (failure to attend a scheduled session without notice) will be charged in full.
  • This policy applies to all services including individual therapy, couples therapy, and scheduled consultation calls.

5.3 Rescheduling

Rescheduling is permitted within reason, provided adequate notice is given. Repeated rescheduling may affect therapeutic continuity and will be discussed on a case-by-case basis.

5.4 Therapist Cancellations

If we need to cancel or reschedule a session, you will be notified as soon as possible and will not be charged for that session. We will work with you to reschedule at a mutually convenient time.

Specific pricing is provided during consultation or on relevant service pages.

For package purchases, unused sessions do not expire but cannot be refunded. If you are unable to continue services, we encourage you to discuss your situation with us.

7. Confidentiality and Privacy

7.1 Client Confidentiality

All client information is strictly confidential and will be handled in accordance with professional ethical standards and applicable privacy laws.

Information about you and your therapy will not be disclosed to any third party without your explicit written consent, except:

  • When required by law (e.g., court order, legal obligation)
  • When there is imminent risk of harm to yourself or others
  • In cases of suspected child abuse or neglect (as required by law)
  • When necessary for insurance or billing purposes (with your authorization)

7.2 Use of Anonymized Information

Case-related information that does not identify you or include any details that could reasonably lead to your identification may be used for:

  • Clinical supervision and consultation
  • Professional development and training
  • Research or academic purposes
  • General marketing and educational content

Your identity will always remain protected in such uses.

7.3 Data Protection

For detailed information about how we collect, use, and protect your personal data, please see our Privacy Policy.

7.4 Online Session Privacy

When participating in online sessions, you are responsible for ensuring your own privacy (e.g., being in a private space, using headphones if needed). We recommend using a secure, private location for all sessions.

8. Technology and Online Sessions

8.1 Platform Requirements

Online sessions are conducted via Zoom, Google Meet, or WhatsApp video call. You are responsible for:

  • Having a reliable internet connection
  • Having a device with camera and microphone capabilities
  • Ensuring you can access the chosen platform
  • Testing your technology before sessions

8.2 Technical Issues

If technical difficulties prevent a session from taking place:

  • We will attempt to resolve issues or switch to an alternative platform
  • If the session cannot proceed, it will be rescheduled without charge
  • If the session proceeds with reduced time due to technical issues, adjustments may be made on a case-by-case basis

8.3 Recording

Sessions are not recorded unless explicitly agreed upon by both parties in writing for specific clinical or training purposes. You may not record sessions without express written consent.

9. Client Responsibilities

As a client, you agree to:

9.1 Accurate Information

Provide accurate and complete information about your mental health, medical history, and any factors relevant to treatment.

9.2 Communication

Inform us of any changes in your contact information, circumstances, or other factors that may affect your treatment.

9.3 Engagement

Participate actively and honestly in the therapeutic process. While we will support your progress, your commitment and engagement are essential to the success of therapy.

9.4 Emergency Situations

Understand that online therapy services are not appropriate for emergency situations. In case of a mental health emergency, you should:

  • Contact your local emergency services
  • Go to the nearest emergency room
  • Call a crisis helpline in your country

We will provide crisis resources upon request, but our services are not designed for crisis intervention.

10. Therapeutic Relationship and Termination

10.1 Professional Boundaries

The relationship between therapist and client is professional in nature. Any relationship outside of the therapeutic context is not permitted and may result in termination of services.

10.2 Right to Terminate

Either party (you or the therapist) may choose to terminate the therapeutic relationship at any time and for any reason.

10.3 Client-Initiated Termination

You may discontinue services at any time. However, we encourage you to discuss your decision during a session to ensure appropriate closure and, if needed, referrals to other resources.

Sudden or unexpected termination may compromise the progress you’ve made. When possible, planned endings support better therapeutic outcomes.

10.4 Therapist-Initiated Termination

We may terminate services if:

  • The therapeutic relationship is no longer beneficial to you
  • There is a conflict of interest
  • You consistently violate these terms (e.g., repeated no-shows, non-payment)
  • Treatment falls outside the scope of our expertise
  • Behavior becomes threatening or inappropriate

In such cases, we will provide you with referrals to alternative resources when appropriate.

11. Scope and Limitations of Services

11.1 Not a Substitute for Emergency Care

Our services are not suitable for emergency or crisis situations. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please contact local emergency services immediately.

11.2 No Guarantees

While we are committed to providing professional, high-quality services, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes. Therapeutic progress depends on many factors, including your engagement, circumstances, and the nature of the issues being addressed.

11.3 Jurisdiction and Licensure

Services are provided in compliance with European Union regulations and international professional standards. Clients seeking services from outside the EU should be aware that regulatory standards may differ in their jurisdiction.

11.4 Legal and Medical Matters

Therapy services do not include:
